A.D. Williams

Our Services

Simply call us when you need our services at (610) 374-5440 to schedule a time to meet us at one of our three locations. We will have one of our caring team members meet you at a day and time that is most convenient for you.

We also invite any pet owners that wish to witness the cremation process to be with us when that occurs. Although most pet owners choose not to be present, some do, and for those that do this option is usually cathartic. Please note there is a $75 fee for this option.

We are able to go to any veterinary office or animal hospital to pick up your beloved pet at no additional charge. The step of bringing your pet into our care takes place during the business day and allows us to waive any nominal cost we incur. If you would want us to come for your pet immediately from the veterinary or animal hospital, we can do that. However, the immediacy may involve an additional cost. Regardless, please know it is no trouble for us to pick up your beloved pet at any location.

The cremated remains of your pet will be returned to you in an urn that is provided by Pet Cremations by Kuhn at no additional cost. Should you wish to select a more personalized urn, we do have many options at our Temple location. The Temple location is also where we perform our pet cremations.

Communal Cremation

Not all pet owners wish to have their pet’s cremated remains returned to them. Communal cremation allows Pet Cremations by Kuhn to cremate more than one pet at a time for a reduced fee. To be clear, the vast majority of the pet cremations we handle are cremations done on an individual basis, for one beloved pet at a time. However, in order to meet the wishes of all pet owners that call on us, communal cremation is an option. With communal cremation, your pet’s cremated remains are not returned to you and Pet Cremations by Kuhn scatter those cremated remains in a privately-owned wooded area.

Have an Immediate Need?

Below are the action steps you need to take so we can help you:

Get the Process Started

Call us at (610) 374-5440 so we can act quickly to help you. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If your pet passed away at home, you can bring your pet to one of our three locations, or we can come to your home and bring your beloved pet to our funeral home. Additionally, if your pet is put down at a veterinary office or animal hospital, we are able to go directly to that location to bring your pet into our care.

Cremation Authorization Form

If you are not ordering cremation services online, we will need you to complete a Cremation Authorization Form (PDF) prior to us cremating your beloved pet. You can download this form here:

Cremation Authorization Form (PDF)

If you are ordering online, you will digitally sign this agreement during the ordering process.

Make Payment

Payment is required prior to cremation. You can pay us at one of our funeral home locations or you can pay directly through our website.

The Cremation Process

Pet owners are invited to be with us when we cremate your beloved pet. You simply need to let us know that you want to be present for this step of the process. You should know that the cremation of your pet will last approximately three hours, but there are variables that will change this duration. Please note there is a $75 fee for this option.

We do have our own dedicated cremation machine, known as a retort, at our Temple funeral home. It is in a separate space from the funeral home itself and is dedicated to the cremation process.

Transfer of Cremated Remains

Once the cremation process is completed, the cremated remains are placed in an urn provided by the funeral home. Some pet owners prefer a personalized urn. We have a variety of urns to choose from or you can provide an urn you may have created or purchased yourself.

Should you have any questions regarding any of this information please call us at (610) 374-5440.
