S'mores

S’mores, the beloved fur baby of Jenna and Caleb, crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of January 24th 2026, comfortable in her cage at home with her cage mate Maggie and her humans nearby. S’mores was born in early 2019 and was adopted by Jenna after S'mores spent her first few months of life in the nature shack of a summer camp. Jenna named her for her colors that resembled a campfire s’more. In poor health and unable to walk when she was adopted, Jenna nursed S’mores back to health and she became a strong, healthy pig who was able to walk again up until her passing.

S’mores was a sweet, social, and sassy pig with lots of personality who enjoyed her first year after adoption living with Jenna and her four roommates in their college apartment, who all lovingly called her their sixth roommate and gave her lots of love. S’mores lived a long life of nearly 7 years and was a beloved part of their family through many milestones, including the pandemic, Jenna and Caleb’s college graduation, their wedding and marriage, five moves, Jenna’s graduate schooling, and the subsequent start of her career as an occupational therapist. Lovingly called their chonky potato, S’mores was known to have wild long hair, squeak excitedly when she thought food was on the way, and when given treats, she would hold them proudly with her head held high and scurry away with them to enjoy.

S’mores is survived by her lifelong guinea pig cage mate Maggie, who was adopted in February 2020. S’mores was a well-loved guinea pig who brought so much joy to her family’s lives. She will be greatly missed by Maggie and her humans, and she will be loved in their hearts forever through the rest of life's milestones.
