Pickles

Pickles joined our family at just a few weeks old and spent nearly ten years filling our home with love, comfort, and companionship. He grew up alongside Audrey, becoming much more than a pet, he was her constant friend, confidant, and faithful companion throughout her childhood.

Patient, gentle, and endlessly affectionate. He would come running when his name was called, always eager to be near his family. He loved stretching out in the sunshine on the front porch and was the very best cuddler, happiest when curled up beside the people he loved.

But above all else, Pickles loved Audrey.

Every night, he slept with her, often resting on her head as if there was nowhere else in the world he would rather be. Through childhood milestones, ordinary days, and quiet evenings, Pickles was always there. Audrey was his favorite person in the world, and there was never any doubt that he knew he was hers.

Those who knew Pickles will remember his sweet nature, his loyal heart, and the comfort of his presence. We will miss his purrs, his cuddles, his sunny porch naps, and the way he came bounding when called.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for every moment we shared with him. The love he gave us over nearly ten years will remain with us forever.
