Mauser

Mauser came into our lives at about six years of age. We got him to catch the mice in our home, but he was so aggressively affectionate, he worked his way into our hearts and we dubbed him Captain Lovey Pants. Mauser went missing and I actively searched for him for a year. He miraculously came back into our lives after five years on the city streets. He was changed - older, grumpier, and had FIV, but deep down he was still our Mauser. I am forever grateful we got to love and care for him for the last 18 months of his life.
