Deacon Klipp

Oct 23, 2018 — Jul 14, 2026

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, our beloved Deacon Earl Klipp, affectionately known to some as "Biggie Boy," passed away peacefully in his absolute favorite spot in his yard.

Deacon came into our lives as the ultimate Christmas Eve gift in 2018, just a tiny puppy, and for nearly eight years, he was the heartbeat of our home. He was the sweetest boy, a devoted protector and a character of the highest order.

Deacon took his self-appointed jobs very seriously. He was a dedicated patroller of his yard, a master at hiding his balls in secret spots and a fierce protector of the family he loved so deeply. He was also a dog of refined culinary tastes, with a particular passion for duck, dippy eggs, pizza crusts and the occasional, stealthily stolen stick of butter from the counter.

We will forever miss the comforting presence of his spot on the couch, his signature "tea kettle" whine when he wanted to tell us something important and even the funny little legacy he left behind—like the fact that the toilet lid is now always left up, leaving water just for him.

Our yard, our couch and our hearts feel incredibly quiet without our Biggie Boy. He gave us a lifetime of devotion in his eight years, and we are so grateful for every single day we got to spend in his gentle company.

Run free, sweet boy. Your yard is safe, your family is protected and there is endless butter waiting for you. We love you always.
